Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Construction Worker role based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. The Construction Worker will assist with various construction and renovation projects, including site preparation, demolition, material handling, and installation tasks. Daily responsibilities may include supporting masonry work, flooring installation, framing, and general labor such as loading and unloading materials, operating basic tools and equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe worksite. The role involves following instructions from site supervisors, adhering to safety protocols and building codes, and collaborating with other crew members to complete projects on schedule and to company standards. The Construction Worker will be expected to work in varying weather conditions, perform physically demanding tasks, and adapt to different project requirements as needed.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess practical skills in Construction and Renovation for residential and/or commercial projects.
- Candidates should possess experience in Masonry and Flooring installation or repair.
- Candidates should possess basic Research skills to understand materials, tools, and construction methods as required.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of safe operation of hand and power tools and adherence to safety regulations.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, standing, and working at heights for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
- Previous experience in general contracting or construction settings is an asset.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation within the GTA are preferred.
