Position: SAP GTS Functional
Duration: 3-6 Months
Location: Toronto, CANADA – 100% Travel required
Rate: Around $90 USD/Hr + Expenses
Description:

Resource must have this expertise as noted below
1.1.8. Functional Scope – Global Trade Services (GTS)
Compliance Management
- BP Screening for SPL, Legal control (licensee checks) and Embargo
- Product classification (HTS, Control Class, etc.)
- SO, OBD, PO, IBD Compliance checks for SPL, licensee checks, and Embargo
- Upload of data from Data Provider (SPL, HTS, Duty rates, etc.)
Customs Management
- Imports Management: Import declarations and necessary declarations filing (Self or Broker interface)
- Export Management: Export declarations and necessary declarations filing (Self or Broker interface)
- Country-specific Customs processes
- Duty calculations for Imports
- Country of Origin determination (Preference Management)
- Self-filing and broker integration

Responsibilities
Manage SAP GTS compliance processes, including business partner screening, legal control and embargo checks, product classification, and compliance checks across sales, delivery, and purchasing transactions. Handle import and export customs declarations, country-specific customs processes, import duty calculations, country-of-origin determination, data-provider uploads, and self-filing or broker integration.
Requirements
The resource must have functional expertise in SAP GTS compliance management and customs management. The posting does not specify a formal education requirement or a number of years of experience.
