Full Description
Little Bo Peep is looking for a Child Care Assistant to join our wonderful team and our emergent curriculum-based preschool program. We are open year round and are located in Windsor Park, close to bus routes. We are open from 6:30am until 6:00pm Monday to Friday.
The position is for a minimum of 30hours/week with the opportunity for extra hours when required. The successful candidate must be able to work until 6:00pm.
If you are interested in applying for a substitute position, these individuals must be able to work between the hours of 6:30am and 6:00 pm on short notice to cover sick calls, staff appointments and sometimes booked in advance for vacation relief.
The Manitoba Child Care Association acknowledges that we are located on Treaty 1 Territory and on the lands of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Anisininew, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and the Red River Métis Homeland.
We respect the Treaties that were made on these territories, we acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past and we move forward in a spirit of reconciliation and collaboration.

Responsibilities
Support the emergent curriculum-based preschool program by providing child care services. Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children during operating hours.
Requirements
Candidates must be available to work until 6:00 pm and commit to a minimum of 30 hours per week. Substitutes must be available on short notice for sick calls and vacation relief.
