SAP IBP Application Support Analys

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated SAP IBP Application Support Analyst to provide production support, incident resolution, and continuous improvement for SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and its integration with SAP S/4HANA. The role involves supporting planning processes, data integration, business users, and system enhancements while ensuring stable and reliable operations.

This is a hybrid support role where SAP IBP activities represent approximately 50% of the workload. The successful candidate should be interested in developing broader SAP functional knowledge and supporting S/4HANA processes such as SD, MM, Pricing, Finance, or Industry-Specific solutions, while assisting with incidents, service requests, and enhancement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for SAP IBP and its integrations with SAP S/4HANA, acting as a primary support contact for incidents and service requests.
• Investigate and resolve issues related to forecasts, planning views, key figures, master data, data replication, and interface failures.
• Perform root cause analysis and data reconciliation across IBP, S/4HANA, BW, and CPI-DS environments.
• Support business users with access management, Excel Add-In functionality, system performance, security, and planning-related inquiries.
• Participate in system upgrades, testing activities, deployments, and post-release validation.
• Maintain support documentation, process flows, and knowledge transfer materials.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Subject Matter Experts, and technical teams to deliver enhancements and operational improvements.
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for process and system optimization.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience supporting SAP IBP, including Planning Areas, Key Figures, and Planning Views.
• Understanding of master data, transactional data, and planning processes.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA integration and data flows.
• Experience with CPI-DS or similar SAP data integration technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience with data validation, reconciliation, and production support activities.
• Familiarity with forecasting and supply chain planning concepts.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the SAP IBP Excel Add-In.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to SAP SD, MM, Pricing, Finance, or industry-specific business processes.
• Willingness to expand support responsibilities beyond IBP into broader SAP S/4HANA business processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and customer support skills.
• Experience working in a production support or operational support environment with both business and technical teams.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications in a complex, integrated SAP landscape.
