We operate from an integrated manufacturing plant of 20,000 sq.ft. (1860m2) in North Vancouver. Our shop is modern, clean and well-organized. Our main offices, which include our team of in-house engineers, are strategically located right next door. This allows us to move seamlessly from design and consultation straight to production. Ensuring a continuous process of on-site quality control, our manufacturing process is efficient and precise.

Job Description:
The Material Handler / Shop Helper supports both the manufacturing floor and supply chain team. This role reports directly to the Supply Chain Lead and is also accountable to the Shop Leads and Production Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shipping and Receiving (40%):
- Receive, unpack, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders for quantity, accuracy, and damage
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments following standard operating procedures
- Complete shipping documentation and packing lists using the ERP system
- Coordinate with carriers to arrange pickups and deliveries
- Notify the Supply Chain Lead of any discrepancies or damaged goods
- Inventory and Material Handling (40%):
- Move materials and products to designated storage locations within the facility
- Assist with regular inventory counts and reconciling discrepancies
- Organize and maintain inventory storage areas to ensure accuracy in the ERP system
- Operate pallet jacks and assist with material handling equipment as trained
- Pack orders and communicate with third parties for shipping arrangements as needed
- Support general supply chain tasks as required
- Shop Support (20%):
- Stage raw materials and work-in-progress to the correct work centres as directed
- Assist with basic tasks such as labelling, kitting, and part movement under supervision
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop floor and aisles
- Support general shop needs as directed by the Shop Leads
Requirements:
- Basic computer skills; familiarity with MS Office (Outlook, Excel) is a plus
- Experience with an ERP system is an asset but not required
- Previous experience in a warehouse, material handling, or labour role is an asset but not required
- Attention to detail and willingness to follow procedures consistently
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs, or use appropriate lifting aids
- Able to work on your feet for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Experience with a forklift or pallet jack is a plus but not required
