Lead new business opportunities from initial engagement through implementation handoff.
Develop competitive sales strategies and position Manulife's value proposition effectively.
Coordinate and respond to RFPs, RFIs, and proposal requests.
Deliver finalist presentations and support plan sponsor decision-making processes.
Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reporting, and opportunity tracking.

Client & Partner Engagement

Build trusted relationships with advisors, consultants, trustees, and plan sponsor decision-makers.
Act as a strategic resource by sharing industry insights, market trends, and retirement expertise.
Represent Manulife at industry events, client meetings, and business development activities.
Collaborate with external distribution partners to uncover and advance opportunities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with Pricing, Product, Investments, Marketing, Client Service, Implementation, Operations, Legal, and Compliance teams to develop client solutions and support successful sales outcomes.
Share market intelligence and client feedback to help shape product, service, and business strategies.
Ensure a seamless transition of new business to implementation and service partners.

Required Qualifications:

University degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in financial services sales, business development, relationship management, or consulting.
Experience in group retirement, workplace savings, pensions, investments, wealth management, or employee benefits.
Demonstrated success developing new business, managing complex sales opportunities, and delivering presentations to diverse stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of retirement and savings solutions, including Defined Contribution plans, Group RRSPs, DPSPs, and TFSAs, as well as the Canadian pension and regulatory environment.
Proven consultative selling, relationship management, negotiation, and influencing skills.
Strong business acumen with the ability to identify opportunities, develop sales strategies, and navigate competitive situations.
Experience managing sales pipelines, forecasting, and CRM tools such as Salesforce.
Excellent communication, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
