- Manage vendor queries and resolve emerging operational issues using sound judgment and effective prioritization.
- Identify high-risk processes, recommend mitigating controls and strengthen the future control environment.
- Drive process improvements, efficiencies and synergies, with flexibility to support peak periods and international partners outside regular business hours when required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; a CPA or other financial designation is an asset.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of three years in a managerial or team lead role.
- Fully bilingual (French/English): The successful candidate will be required to communicate in English and French in order to support clients from various jurisdictions outside of Quebec.
- Strong knowledge of fund and investment accounting, securities, settlements, foreign exchange transactions and reconciliations.
- Results-oriented and adaptable, with the ability to respond quickly, meet tight deadlines and take ownership.
- Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
- Detail-oriented and highly accurate, with excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
When you join our team:
- We’ll empower you to learn and grow the career you want.
- We’ll recognize and support you in a flexible environment where well-being and inclusion are more than just words.
- As part of our global team, we’ll support you in shaping the future you want to see.
