As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you'll work alongside talented engineers, architects, and business partners to build modern, cloud-based applications that power investment operations across multiple asset classes, including Equities, Fixed Income, Commercial Real Estate, Credit Default Swaps, and Reinsurance.
What You'll Do
As a key member of an Agile delivery squad, you will:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-scale applications across the full software development lifecycle.
- Build modern user experiences using React and develop scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Develop and enhance cloud-native applications running on Azure and Kubernetes (AKS).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to implement high-impact solutions.
- Lead technical discussions, design reviews, and architecture decisions.
- Create APIs, database designs, and server-side components supporting mission-critical investment applications.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive continuous improvements in system performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Apply modern engineering practices including CI/CD, DevSecOps, automation, testing, and semantic versioning.
- Mentor team members through code reviews, technical guidance, and best practices.
What You'll Bring
Required Experience
- 5 to 8 years of Full-Stack Development
- 5+ years of hands-on development using Java.
- 5+ years of advanced SQL and database development experience.
- 3+ years working with Microservices and Kubernetes (AKS preferred).
- Strong experience developing modern web applications using React.js.
- Expertise with Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems.
- Experience with GitHub, GitHub Copilot, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience building solutions in Microsoft Azure.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, testing, and secure development practices.

Salary range is expected to be between
$113,000.00 CAD - $163,000.00 CAD
