Position Summary
Maplesoft is seeking an experienced Database Modeller / Information Management Modeller Level 3 to provide database development, modelling and information management support for a long-term federal government initiative.
The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in software development, database modelling and/or database administration, with strong recent experience in Oracle database development, SQL and PL/SQL.
This is a hybrid position in the National Capital Region. Candidates located outside the Ottawa/Gatineau area must be willing and able to relocate or reliably attend the worksite when required. Fully remote-only candidates cannot be considered.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain conceptual, logical and physical data models
- Perform Oracle database development using SQL and PL/SQL
- Support database performance tuning and optimization activities
- Perform database modelling and database administration-related activities
- Support ETL processes and data migration initiatives
- Assist with database design, development, implementation and ongoing optimization
- Work collaboratively with technical teams in a federal government environment
Required Qualifications
- Valid Government of Canada Secret security clearance
- Minimum 10 years of experience in software development, database modelling and/or database administration
- Minimum 36 months of recent Oracle database development experience
- Strong experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
- Demonstrated experience developing conceptual, logical and physical data models
- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization
- Experience with ETL and data migration
- Ability to work in English
- Ability and willingness to attend the worksite in the National Capital Region when required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Experience with Microsoft Access
- Previous experience supporting federal government technology environmentsred Qualifications:

Support performance optimization, database administration, ETL and data migration activities, and database design and implementation in collaboration with federal government technical teams.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a valid Government of Canada Secret clearance, have at least 10 years of relevant experience, and have at least 36 months of recent Oracle database development experience with strong SQL and PL/SQL skills. They must have data modeling, performance tuning, ETL, and data migration experience, be able to work in English, and attend the National Capital Region worksite when required.
