Original job description

Company Description MapPax Inc. is a specialized local SEO agency focused on helping service-based businesses win on Google Maps. The team emphasizes revenue-driving tactics such as street-level geo-grid rank tracking, Google Business Profile optimization, citation building, and targeted service-page architecture. MapPax works with contractors, trade professionals, clinics, and local specialists to map precise service areas, close ranking gaps, and convert search intent into qualified leads. The company values radical transparency, clear reporting, and measurable outcomes over vanity metrics, offering data-driven local audits and accountable performance.
Role Description The Account Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Stratford, ON, responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of local service business clients. Day-to-day, this role involves leading client discovery calls, understanding business goals, and translating them into tailored local SEO strategies in partnership with the delivery team. The Account Executive will prepare and present performance reports, explain geo-grid rankings and optimization efforts, and provide clear recommendations that align with revenue objectives. Additional responsibilities include nurturing relationships, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, coordinating campaign timelines, and ensuring a high standard of communication and service. The role requires proactive follow-through on client requests, consistent documentation in CRM tools, and close collaboration with internal marketing and operations colleagues.
Qualifications

Client relationship management skills, including account management, consultative communication, and the ability to build trust with diverse local service businesses.
Sales and business development skills, such as prospecting, qualifying leads, handling objections, and closing opportunities while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
Understanding of digital marketing and local SEO concepts, including Google Maps visibility, Google Business Profile optimization, and performance reporting.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple accounts, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate documentation and CRM records.
Analytical skills to interpret campaign data, identify trends in rankings and lead generation, and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations for clients.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to explain technical concepts in accessible, business-focused language.
Comfort working in an on-site, collaborative environment in Stratford, ON, with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and high attention to detail.
Previous experience in account management, sales, or digital marketing (agency or B2B environment preferred); post-secondary education in business, marketing, communications, or a related field is an asset.
