Senior Data Solutions Architect (Hybrid) We offer remote work opportunities which may require some onsite work based on fulfilling individual client based requirements.

To support our growth, we are searching for an experienced Senior Data Solutions Architect to join our team. As part of a growing and well-respected team, you'll work with clients in the public, healthcare, and private sectors. You'll collaborate with a seasoned team of professionals with backgrounds in project management, change management, service design, risk management and technology, and 'lived' experience, who have your back and value your contributions.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We'd like to hear from you if you bring:

A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or a combination of a two-year technical diploma and relevant experience.

10+ years of experience architecting and implementing enterprise data, analytics, business intelligence, and information-management solutions.

5+ years of experience as a Data Architect (or equivalent senior data role)

Cloud Data Delivery: Designing and delivering data-driven solutions using platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS and services such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks and comparable cloud-native technologies.
Modern Architecture: Designing and implementing data lakes, lakehouses, data warehouses, data integration pipelines, semantic models, and analytics platforms.
Governance and Security: Defining solution and technical architectures that address data governance, privacy, security, data quality, metadata, lineage, retention, and access management.
Business Strategy: Contributing to enterprise data strategy, architecture roadmaps, and operating models that align technology investments with business priorities.
Leading and Collaborating: Leading cross-functional teams - including data engineers, analytics professionals, data scientists, security specialists, business stakeholders, and delivery teams - to design and implement scalable cloud data solutions.

Dedicated experience delivering in a consulting capacity:

Targeted Communication: Translating complex technical and data concepts into clear, practical recommendations for non-technical audiences, while being able to confidently communicate accurately with technical audiences.
Priority Management: Managing multiple priorities, navigate ambiguity, and make sound decisions in evolving client environments.
Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitating, issue identifying and resolving, problem solving, and engaging with stakeholders.

Strong verbal, written and visual communication skills tailored to the needs of different audiences.

Exemplary client service skills and ability to collaborate with people at all organizational levels.

Assets

Experience in public-sector and/or healthcare environments.
Familiarity with healthcare privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
Microsoft Azure, AWS and/or other cloud certifications.
Experience with cloud security, DevOps, Kubernetes, networking, or enterprise

architecture certifications.

Experience enabling responsible AI and generative AI solutions, including secure

cloud foundations, data protection, identity controls, monitoring, and AI governance.

A strong foundation in application, platform, infrastructure, integration, and security architecture best practices.
Experience designing and delivering cloud-based applications, APIs, and data

services.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver scalable cloud data architectures and solutions, including data lakes, lakehouses, warehouses, integration pipelines, semantic models, and analytics platforms. Advise clients on data strategy, governance, privacy, security, and architecture roadmaps while leading cross-functional teams and communicating recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements
