Target Compensation: From $70 per hour to $75 per hour, with some flexibility according to experience.
Regular Work Hours: 7.25 hours per day, not including .75 hour unpaid lunch break, to be worked during regular business hours, Monday to Friday (36.25 work hours per week).
Work Location: 100% onsite, at client's North York facility.
Responsibilities Summary:
Design, implement and support SharePoint solutions that improve collaboration, document management and business workflows. Work with business users and technical teams to translate requirements into practical solutions and resolve complex technical issues across SharePoint Online and on-premises environments.
- Consult with business users and technical teams to gather requirements and recommend SharePoint solutions.
- Design, configure and enhance SharePoint Online and on-premises environments.
- Configure sites, document libraries, lists, metadata and permissions to meet business requirements.
- Develop and maintain applications and automated workflows using Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Use PowerShell to automate administrative tasks and support SharePoint configuration and maintenance.
- Investigate and resolve complex issues involving access, functionality, workflows and performance.
- Apply SharePoint governance and security practices, including access controls and information management standards.
- Test solutions and prepare technical documentation, user guidance and knowledge transfer materials.
- Additional SharePoint advisory, design, implementation and maintenance responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
Education: Post Secondary Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
Professional Credentials: Certifications related to SharePoint or Microsoft 365 technologies.
Preferred Work Experience: At least 5+ years of experience as a SharePoint Consultant or similar role, with a proven track record of delivering successful SharePoint solutions.
Preferred Sector Experience: Public Sector experience an asset.
Technical and Language Skills Requirements:
- Deep understanding of SharePoint architecture, including SharePoint Online and on-premises environments.
- Advanced knowledge of SharePoint Online, PowerShell and SharePoint Designer (may be tested).
- Demonstrated understanding of SharePoint governance and security best practices.
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft 365 services, particularly Power Apps and Power Automate (may be tested).
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams integration.
- Demonstrated familiarity with Azure services and their integration with SharePoint.
- Strong English language skills, both written and verbal.

- Demonstrated ability to work well both independently and collaboratively, and in an advisory capacity, and liaise effectively with a wide and diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada, providing satisfactory documentation upon request.
- Ability to work 100% onsite, abiding by organization health and safety policies.
- Ability to declare personal Non-Conflict of Interest in execution of assignment responsibilities.
- Provision of certification of AODA and OHSA online training course completion prior to assignment start.
- Satisfactory Background Checks, Technical Skills Evaluations, Interpersonal Skills Assessment, and Employment References as required.
