Architectural & Design Sales Representative - Inside & Outside Sales

Marble Trend is looking for a motivated, personable, and results-driven Architectural & Design Sales Representativeto join our growing team.

This is a dynamic inside and outside sales position ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, meeting customers face-to-face, developing new business, and turning opportunities into sales.

What You’ll Do

Work with customers in our showroom to understand their needs and recommend the right products and solutions.
Meet directly with end users, homeowners, designers, architects, contractors, builders, and other industry professionals to understand project requirements and develop sales opportunities.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Proactively generate new business through networking, prospecting, referrals, social media, digital outreach, and outside sales visits.
Utilize social media and digital communication tools to promote products, connect with industry professionals, identify opportunities, and build relationships.
Conduct regular online video conferences and virtual presentations with clients and industry contacts outside the local driving area.
Pursue and develop sales opportunities across Canada and the United States, using a combination of in-person meetings, phone calls, email, social media, and video conferencing.
Conduct Lunch & Learn and Breakfast & Learn presentations at client locations, including design firms, architectural offices, contractors' offices, and other industry partners.
Prepare and deliver engaging product, material, and industry presentations to educate clients and generate new business opportunities.
Prepare quotes, follow up on leads, and manage sales opportunities from initial contact through to completion.
Stay up to date on our products, materials, design trends, and industry developments.
Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience throughout the sales process.
Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales goals and grow the business.

What We’re Looking For

Previous sales experience, preferably in stone, tile, construction, renovation, building materials, or a related industry.
Education or experience in Interior Design, Architecture, Project Management, Construction, or a related field is strongly recommended.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Comfortable speaking confidently in front of groups and leading professional presentations.
Comfortable using social media platforms, video conferencing, email, and other digital sales and communication tools.
Ability to effectively develop business relationships remotely through virtual meetings and digital communication.
A confident, outgoing personality with the ability to build lasting business relationships.
Self-motivated and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational, time-management, and follow-up skills.
A professional, polished, and customer-focused approach.
French language skills are an asset for communicating with and developing relationships with French-speaking clients in Quebec.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for outside sales activities.
Availability to work alternate Saturdays after successfully completing the 90-day probationary period.
