Role Description The Assistant role at Mariani Metal Group is a full-time, on-site position based in Etobicoke, ON. The Assistant will support daily office operations, including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, organizing documents, and maintaining project files. This role will assist project managers and department leads with tracking timelines, preparing reports, coordinating internal and external communications, and updating records. The Assistant will help with data entry, basic document formatting, and preparing presentations or spreadsheets as needed. The position involves collaborating with team members across departments, responding to inquiries, and contributing to a well-organized, efficient workplace.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills to support multiple projects and priorities.
Candidates should possess solid written and verbal communication skills for professional correspondence, documentation, and collaboration.
Candidates should possess proficiency with office software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) or equivalent productivity tools.
Candidates should possess attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, record-keeping, and document preparation.
Candidates should possess customer service or stakeholder support skills, including responsiveness, professionalism, and problem-solving.
Ability to work on-site in Etobicoke, ON, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and adapt to changing project needs.
Previous experience in administrative, office assistant, or project support roles is an asset; experience in construction, fabrication, or architectural environments is beneficial.
Post-secondary education or relevant training in business administration, office management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
