Position Summary:

The Production Coordinator works closely with the production, sales, logistics and fit teams to ensure customer orders are processed accurately and delivered efficiently. This role coordinates communication with vendors, manages production timelines, and ensures every stage of the process from order placement to final delivery is executed smoothly and on schedule.

Responsibilities:

Communicate daily with local and overseas vendors
Act as the key liaison between internal teams (sales, fit, logistics, production) and factories for multiple apparel styles and categories
Manage production timelines related to customer orders to ensure deadlines are met
Verify that all order information is accurate (fabrics, prints, sizes, measurements and garment details)
Send production information and samples to factories
Receive, sort, organize and distribute fit, pre-production and production samples
Coordinate approvals across departments for fabrics, lab dips, strike offs, fittings and testing
Monitor the status of all styles and follow up consistently with buyers, vendors and internal departments
Track production progress, delivery schedules, booking confirmations and shipments
Review and approve inspection reports received from vendors
Maintain and update purchase orders and production reports essential to the production process
Process and manage vendor chargebacks when required
Ensure production purchase orders are received, updated and closed properly
Identify and resolve any issues related to orders or production
Support the training and development of junior production coordinators

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar role within the fashion or apparel production industry
Diploma (D.E.C.) in fashion, production, supply chain or a related field, or equivalent
Knowledge of garment styles, fabrics, prints and the apparel production process
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French. English is required in order to communicate with clients and vendors outside of Quebec
Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a high workload

Gérer les échéanciers de production liés aux commandes clients afin d’assurer le respect des délais
Vérifier l’exactitude de toutes les informations liées aux commandes (tissus, motifs, tailles, mesures, détails techniques)
Envoyer les informations de production et les échantillons aux usines
Recevoir, trier, organiser et distribuer les échantillons (fit, pré-production et production)
Coordonner les approbations internes pour les tissus, lab dips, strike offs, fittings et tests
Surveiller le statut de tous les styles et effectuer des suivis constants avec les acheteurs, fournisseurs et départements internes
Suivre l’avancement de la production, les confirmations de réservation, les livraisons et les expéditions
Examiner et approuver les rapports d’inspection des fournisseurs
Maintenir et mettre à jour les bons de commande ainsi que les différents rapports liés au processus de production
Traiter et gérer les chargebacks des fournisseurs lorsque requis
S’assurer que les bons de commande de production sont reçus, mis à jour et fermés correctement
Identifier et résoudre toute problématique liée aux commandes ou à la production
Participer à la formation et à l’encadrement des coordonnateurs de production juniors

Qualifications:

Minimum de 2 ans d’expérience dans un poste similaire dans l’industrie de la mode ou de la production de vêtements
Diplôme (D.E.C.) en mode, production, gestion de la chaîne d’approvisionnement ou domaine connexe, ou équivalent
Connaissance des styles de vêtements, des tissus, des motifs et du processus de production de vêtements
Excellentes compétences en communication écrite et verbale en français et en anglais. L’anglais est requis afin de communiquer quotidiennement avec des clients et des fournisseurs situés à l’extérieur du Québec
Très organisé, minutieux et capable de gérer plusieurs priorités simultanément
Capacité à travailler efficacement dans un environnement rapide avec une charge de travail élevée
