Driven by the same customer-centric mentality as above, we empower businesses to achieve their goals and grow alongside us. If you're a driver and not passenger and are ready to make a significant impact and be part of our transformative journey, Maropost is the place for you.
The Opportunity
Maropost is seeking a commercially driven Director, Strategic Partnerships to build and scale a high-performing partner ecosystem that drives pipeline, revenue, and market growth. This leader will develop a repeatable partnership playbook, strengthen and optimize existing partner relationships, and establish clear performance metrics to improve engagement and commercial results. Working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success, the Director will turn strategic partnerships into a scalable, measurable driver of Maropost’s growth.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute Maropost’s partnership strategy to drive revenue growth and expand market reach.
- Lead and develop a high-performing partnerships team of three, setting the strategic direction, defining team objectives, aligning resources with business priorities, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement to maximize partner impact and revenue growth.
- Build a practical partnership playbook covering partner recruitment, onboarding, enablement, joint go-to-market, deal registration, and performance management.
- Establish clear partner segments, commercial models, processes, and success metrics to scale the programme.
- Manage and optimize existing partnerships, assessing performance, engagement, and commercial value.
- Identify opportunities to improve partner performance, reactivate dormant relationships, and increase pipeline and revenue.
- Develop joint business plans with key partners, setting clear pipeline, revenue, and growth targets.
- Represent Maropost in strategic partner discussions, industry events, conferences, and relevant ecosystem communities.
- Bring market intelligence, partner feedback, and emerging opportunities back into the business to inform commercial and product strategy.
- Build a culture of shared accountability in which partnerships are treated as a measurable revenue and growth channel.
- Review performance regularly and recommend where to invest, improve, restructure, or exit partnerships.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to strengthen partner engagement and deliver measurable results.
- Leverage Maropost's partner portal and supporting tools to improve deal registration, referral tracking, reporting, and partner visibility.
- Develop dashboards and reporting to measure partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline, revenue contribution, conversion rates, and overall programme performance.
- Continuously evolve the partnership model to improve productivity, partner engagement, and commercial outcomes.
- 7+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, channel sales, alliances, or related commercial roles within B2B SaaS or technology.
- Demonstrated success building and scaling partnerships that deliver measurable pipeline, revenue, and business growth.
- Experience developing relationships with technology partners, ecommerce platforms, agencies, system integrators, or complementary software providers.
- Strong understanding of partner-led and partner-assisted go-to-market models, including referrals, co-selling, integrations, and joint marketing.
- Experience negotiating commercial agreements and developing partnership models that create value for both parties.
- A track record of working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and executive leadership to deliver commercial outcomes.
- Strong commercial acumen, including the ability to assess partnership economics, prioritize opportunities, and measure return on investment.
- Experience building partner programmes, enablement frameworks, performance metrics, and scalable operating processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage senior executives.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently, navigate ambiguity, and translate strategy into execution.
- You exemplify Maropost’s Values:
- Customer Obsessed
- Extreme Urgency
- Excellence
- Resourceful
