Role Description The Registered Massage Therapist will provide high-quality, client-centered massage treatments, including assessment, treatment planning, and ongoing care. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting thorough client consultations, delivering safe and effective therapeutic massage sessions, and documenting treatment notes in accordance with clinic policies and regulatory standards. The therapist will collaborate with the administrative team to manage bookings, maintain treatment rooms, and support a welcoming, professional clinic environment. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Brantford, ON, requiring consistent availability during scheduled clinic hours. The therapist will also educate clients on self-care, stress management techniques, and treatment plans that support overall wellness.
Qualifications
- Strong client-facing skills, including Customer Service and the ability to build trust and rapport.
- Proficiency in Therapeutic Massage techniques and Body Massage for a range of client needs and conditions.
- Experience or training in Shiatsu and related modalities, or a willingness to learn and integrate these techniques.
- Ability to support clients with Stress Management strategies and wellness-focused guidance.
- Active registration and good standing with the relevant provincial regulatory body for massage therapy.
- Completion of an accredited Massage Therapy program and valid professional liability insurance.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail in charting, and commitment to safe, ethical practice.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and maintain professionalism in a busy clinical setting.
