Title and Summary

Sales Associate Analyst, Launch Program 2027 - CanadaWhy join Mastercard’s Launch Program?

Over the course of this 18-month program, you'll build specialized expertise through hands-on experience, structured learning, and mentorship from industry leaders. You'll work on real business challenges, applying your skills to projects that create meaningful impact.

By the end of the program, you’ll have a strong foundation in your chosen field and the confidence to continue to grow here at Mastercard.

About the team

As a Launcher in Sales, you will play a key role in strengthening customer partnerships, driving revenue growth, and delivering innovative solutions. You will operate at the center of client strategy - supporting Sales, Account Management and Business Development priorities to drive measurable business results.

What you’ll do

As an Associate Analyst, Sales you may:

-Drive customer growth and strategy by identifying customer needs and shaping tailored solutions

-Support sales and business initiatives through project management and coordination, helping track priorities, monitor progress against key objectives, prepare status updates, and facilitate collaboration across teams to drive execution and customer outcomes

-Develop and deliver customer-facing materials including presentations, proposals, and business cases

-Use data and insights to analyze performance, inform recommendations, and support forecasting

-Partner cross-functionally to support deal execution, customer engagement, and ongoing relationship management

-Participate in customer meetings and sales calls as an observer, gaining exposure to customer engagement strategies, relationship management, and Mastercard's solutions to prepare for future customer-facing responsibilities

How you’ll grow
You’ll gain hands-on experience at the intersection of analytics, customer engagement, and commercial strategy. You will build skills that prepare you for customer-facing interactions in a career within Sales.
-Initially, you will shadow experienced sales professionals, gaining exposure to customer interactions, account strategy, and relationship management
-Strengthen analytical, storytelling and business acumen skills
-Over time, you will build the skills and confidence to engage directly with customers, contribute to customer conversations, and support execution against team sales goals
-Ultimately, you will play an active role in meeting account-level targets and strengthen your ability to turn insights into business outcomes
-Explore career paths across sales, account management, and business development

What we’re looking for

-Currently enrolled a Bachelor’s or accelerated Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Management or a related field graduating between Dec 2026 – June 2027
-Ability to translate data and insights into clear, actionable recommendations that drive customer and business outcomes
-Prior experience through a business-related course, academic project, internship, case competition, student organization, or club leadership role is preferred
-Demonstrated curiosity and enthusiasm for understanding customer needs, building professional networks, and learning about Mastercard's products, services, and the payments industry
-Demonstrated interest in sales, account management, business development and customer relationship management
-Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and build trust with internal and external stakeholders
-Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams, regions and manage multiple stakeholders
-Strong organizational and project management skills in a fast-paced environment
-Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to understand customer needs, business models and Mastercard’s products and solutions
-Experience with or interest in using AI tools to enhance analysis, insights and productivity
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)

Compensation: 71,000 CAD
