• Define and document test strategies, test plans, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with developers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze test results and provide quality metrics and recommendations.
• Ensure software meets business, security, scalability, and performance requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote quality engineering best practices.
• Participate in release validation, deployment verification, and production readiness activities.

All About You:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong software engineering experience with Java and modern application development practices.
• Experience developing applications and services using Spring Boot and API-driven architectures.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or similar languages.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, RestAssured, JUnit/TestNG and Cucumber/JBehave/Karate
• Experience testing REST APIs and microservices.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience using source control systems such as Git.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud-native architectures and modern observability platforms.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and software quality metrics.
• Experience mentoring engineers and influencing quality standards across teams.
• Experience supporting highly available, mission-critical platforms within regulated environments.
• Experience with security and compliance testing.Mastercard is a merit-based, inclusive, equal opportunity employer that considers applicants without regard to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, disabled or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
