About The Role
Our client is replacing its core operating platform, a cloud-based SaaS solution used for trip booking, scheduling, and dispatching, with interfaces to external systems. The QA Lead will report to the Senior Project Manager and work with the client’s QA Manager on governance, standards, quality gates, and sign-off recommendations.
Responsibilities
QA Strategy and Governance

- Apply evidence-based, risk-based testing with full traceability and transparent reporting.
- Set minimum evidence expectations for vendor deliverables.
- Review and validate vendor evidence packages, including test strategies, plans, coverage, build/configuration completion, test results, performance baselines, as-built documentation, and runbooks.
- Monitor vendor testing progress and quality metrics, and take part in defect triage and risk assessment.
- Independently verify vendor claims through targeted, high-risk checks covering test coverage, reliability and stability, data quality and security, and operational readiness (monitoring, backup/restore, and DR/failover).
- Develop and manage the SIT strategy and execution approach.
- Coordinate testing across systems, interfaces, and stakeholders.
- Validate end-to-end processes, data flows, workflows, and reporting.
- Ensure test environments and data are in place, and track progress, defects, and risks.
- Develop UAT plans and schedules, and support business users in preparing and running scenarios.
- Facilitate defect triage, monitor progress, and provide readiness assessments.
- Obtain formal business sign-off.
- Maintain the migration readiness checklist and required sign-offs.
- Coordinate post-migration smoke validation and evidence capture with application owners.
- Provide QA oversight during cutover and hypercare, including verification of fixes.
- Design, execute, and maintain test cases, scenarios, and scripts with impacted teams.
- Identify and develop automation opportunities.
- Manage the test effort, results, and defects.
- Maintain the risk register and issue triage outcomes.
- Provide regular formal and informal status reports.
- Validate knowledge transfer materials, training, runbooks, and as-built diagrams.
- Attend daily standups and project meetings.

- Experience with enterprise platforms such as PeopleSoft, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or UKG
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile, hybrid, and Waterfall delivery
