Mativ is a global leader in specialty materials headquartered in Alpharetta, Georgia. The Company offers a wide range of critical components and engineered solutions that connect, protect, and purify our world.

Mativ Renfrew is looking for Slitter Operators to join our production team!

If you are willing and available to work 12hr rotating shifts (days/nights/weekends) we want to hear from you!

Reporting to the designated Safety and Production Supervisor, Slitter Operators will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

Operate machinery
Ability to troubleshoot
Perform quality checks on products as required
Adhere to safety policies and procedures
Basic computer knowledge and skill
Ability to work in a team atmosphere environment
Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions

Qualifications

Grade 12 education
1+ years manufacturing experience
Basic math and mechanical aptitude, as determined by entry testing
Ability to work both day and night shifts on a rotating 12-hour schedule (on average 14 working days per month)

Compensation Package

Salary Range: $24.78 to $26.95/hr.
RRSP: 6.5% company RRSP match after successful completion of probationary period

Responsibilities

Operate slitting machinery, troubleshoot issues, and perform product quality checks as required. Follow safety policies and procedures while working collaboratively and following written and verbal instructions.

Requirements

Applicants must have a Grade 12 education, at least one year of manufacturing experience, and basic math and mechanical aptitude as assessed through entry testing. They must be able to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts, including weekends.
