Territory Sales Manager – Eastern Canada

Summary

As a Territory Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in expanding market presence, increasing product specifications, securing project approvals, and delivering profitable revenue growth across Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, and Price Edward Island. You will drive the growth of the HydroChain product line across Eastern Canada by building strong distributor, contractor, engineering, and municipal relationships that generate long-term sales success. This is an opportunity for a business builder who thrives in developing emerging territories, creating demand through industry relationships, and transforming opportunities into measurable sales results.

Responsibilities

Build, expand, and strengthen relationships with distributors, contractors, municipalities, engineering firms, developers, regulators, and other key stakeholders.
Achieve and exceed territory sales and margin objectives through strategic account management and business development activities.
Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline while effectively managing pricing opportunities, project bids, and customer engagement activities.
Generate new business opportunities by influencing specifications, converting projects, and securing product approvals with agencies and engineering partners.
Deliver technical presentations, educational sessions, lunch-and-learns, and product training to the engineering and contractor community.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders including sales leadership, engineering, manufacturing, accounting, and product management teams to support customer success and project execution.
Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and support strategic planning initiatives.
Develop and execute a territory growth strategy while contributing to sales forecasting and business planning activities.
Travel throughout the Eastern Canada region to maintain customer relationships, develop new business opportunities, and support territory growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; Civil or Mechanical Engineering degree preferred.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant sales, business development, or technical sales experience, with 5 to 7 years preferred.
Proven ability to drive revenue growth and build successful customer relationships within industrial, infrastructure, water, wastewater, fire protection, stormwater, municipal, or related markets.
Strong network of distributor, contractor, engineering, or municipal contacts within the Southeast market preferred.
Demonstrated success influencing specifications, managing project opportunities, and developing new business.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong strategic planning, business development, and territory management capabilities.
Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory, including overnight travel.
Ability to successfully manage a large territory and work independently in a field-based sales environment.

Salary:

The Salary Range for this position is $110,000 to $120,000. The provided range represents the anticipated base salary and target incentive for this position. The final total compensation will be determined based on the successful candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity considerations. This job is vacant to fill a new position.
