The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, capable of managing multiple projects while building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Identify potential project risks and proactively develop solutions to minimize delays and cost overruns.
Conduct regular project meetings and maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders.
Collaborate with site superintendents to ensure construction activities align with project requirements, schedules, and safety standards.
Ensure compliance with building codes, contractual obligations, company policies, and health and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate project records and reporting using construction management software, including Procore.
Oversee project closeout, deficiency management, and final documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management, preferably within retail general contracting.
Proven experience successfully managing construction projects from start to finish.
Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, contracts, and project financial management.
Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Office, and construction scheduling tools.
Experience reviewing architectural, structural, and mechanical/electrical drawings and specifications.
Strong leadership, negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a deadline-driven environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is considered an asset.
Bilingualism in English and French is considered an asset.
