Tasks
- Install sprinkler heads and mount prepared pipe in supports
- Select, measure, cut, ream and thread pipe
- Connect piping systems to water mains, supply tanks, pumps, compressors and control equipment
- Install clamps, brackets and hangers to support piping system and sprinkler and fire protection equipment, using hand and power tools
- Join pipes and piping sections using soldering and welding equipment
- Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size

Responsibilities
Install sprinkler heads and prepared piping, and measure, cut, thread, ream, and bend pipes to required specifications. Connect piping to water supplies and related equipment, and install supports and fire protection components using hand and power tools, soldering, and welding equipment.
Requirements
Requires a secondary school graduation certificate and 2 to less than 3 years of experience. Candidates should be willing to travel and able to work in fast-paced, physically demanding conditions, including at heights and in wet or noisy environments.
