Original job description

If you want to be a Maxonian and help bring the best 2D and 3D visual effects, motion graphics, gaming, AR/MR/VR, visualization and design software to the market, then we should have a chat.

WHO WE ARE:
Packed with brilliant, passionate people, Maxon is deeply rooted in the creative industry and committed to empowering the artistic community. We are Maxonians. We encourage and motivate each other to be curious learners. We are obsessed with customer fulfillment and inspiration – before, during and after purchase. If you too want to be a Maxonian and help bring to market the finest software products for 2D and 3D visual effects, motion graphics, games, AR/MR/VR, visualization and general design, let’s talk.

Maxon is looking for a mid-level Cloud & Systems Integration Developer to join our Application Integration team within Operations. You'll help design, build, and maintain the cloud infrastructure and integrations that connect our core business systems - from identity platforms to internal collaboration and support tools. This is a hands-on role for someone comfortable writing production code, automating infrastructure, and working through how different enterprise systems connect and share data, with support from senior team members on more complex architecture decisions.

What you'll do -

Build and maintain serverless workloads using Azure Functions, secured with Azure Key Vault for secrets and credential management

Provision and manage cloud infrastructure (VMs, AKS clusters) using Terraform, following infrastructure-as-code best practices

Contribute to and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support reliable, automated deployments

Develop backend and integration logic in Python and JavaScript

Containerize applications with Docker and deploy/support them via AKS

Support identity and access workflows through Microsoft Entra ID, including SCIM provisioning for automated user lifecycle management across SaaS applications

Build integrations and automation using Microsoft Graph API and SharePoint

Monitor systems and troubleshoot issues using Sumo Logic, and support end-user workflows via Zendesk

Work in Linux-based environments

Contribute to systems integration efforts across business and technical stakeholders

Support data modelling to help build clean, scalable integration architectures

Assist with migration planning for systems and data transitions

Participate in requirements analysis with business and technical stakeholders to help translate needs into technical solutions

Produce clear documentation for systems, integrations, and processes

Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organization

What we are looking for -

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
3-5 years of related experience
Experience with Azure cloud services (Functions, Key Vault, VMs, AKS)
Working knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure as code

Experience building or supporting CI/CD pipelines

Proficiency in Python and JavaScript

Experience with Docker and container-based deployments

Familiarity with Entra ID and SCIM-based provisioning

Experience with Microsoft Graph API and SharePoint

Experience monitoring systems with tools like Sumo Logic, and supporting users via tools like Zendesk

Comfortable working in Linux environments

Core Competencies

Experience contributing to systems integration work across multiple platforms

Solid data modelling skills

Exposure to migration planning

Ability to participate in requirements analysis and translate business needs into technical tasks
Fluent English is required; additional languages a plus but not required
Strong verbal and written communication skills including documentation, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Prior exposure to HR, legal, or IT operations systems

WHAT WE OFFER:

You will be part of a highly motivated international team of specialists working in an environment that offers a warm welcome with detailed onboarding and a dedicated mentor for a familiarization period as well as a wide range of individual development possibilities. Interested in joining our team? Click "Apply" to submit your application. Don’t meet every single requirement? At Maxon we embrace diversity, are avid explorers and curious learners, so if you’re excited about this role but your experience doesn’t entirely match every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply in any case. You may be just the right candidate for this or other positions.

We’re looking forward to hearing from you!
