Head of AI Transformation

The role

We are hiring a Head of AI Transformation to own Maya HTT's AI strategy and prove it in production across our development, services and reseller businesses. This is a player-coach role: roughly 60% strategy, change and governance, and 40% hands-on building.

Maya HTT is a Montreal-based CAE and PLM software company and a Siemens Digital Industries Software partner. We build our own simulation software, deliver engineering services and custom tools to clients, and resell and support Siemens solutions.

You will turn a growing set of AI initiatives into measurable business results. You will spend as much time with sales and services leaders as with engineers, and you will build the first proofs of value yourself.

Responsibilities

Strategy, change and governance

Build and own the AI transformation roadmap across development, services and VAR, prioritized by business impact.

• Write the business case for each initiative, and agree success metrics with each business unit head before work starts.

• Lead adoption: run the steering group with business unit leaders, recruit a champion in each unit, and remove blockers.

• Work with services leadership on pricing models, so efficiency gains from AI grow margin instead of shrinking billable revenue.

• Set the AI usage policy, data classification rules and vendor standards, aligned with our ISO 27001 and EU Cyber Resilience Act work.

• Evaluate vendors and tools, including Siemens' AI roadmap, and decide what we build, buy or resell.

• Report progress and P&L impact to the CTO and executive team.

Hands-on building

• Build prototypes and pilots that prove value fast, especially in services and VAR, using LLM APIs, agents and MCP integrations.

• Take successful pilots to production with engineering, using frontier model platforms, MCP and the Maya Agent Platform.

• Instrument every pilot so its impact is measured, not estimated.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software, engineering or technology leadership, including 3+ years leading AI, automation or digital transformation work.

• A track record of driving AI adoption in non-technical business units such as sales, services or support, with results you can quantify.

• Hands-on experience with enterprise AI platforms (such as Anthropic, OpenAI or Microsoft Copilot) and with MCP: you have personally built agents, RAG pipelines or integrations that reached real users.

• Enough architecture depth to challenge vendor claims and make sound build-or-buy calls on agents, model hosting and integrations.

• Financial fluency: you build business cases and understand how automation changes services pricing and margins.

• Working knowledge of AI governance: data classification, security, privacy and regulatory exposure.

• The credibility to influence senior business leaders who do not report to you.

• Professional English; French is a strong asset.

Nice to have

• Experience in CAE, simulation, PLM or engineering software.

• Experience in a professional services firm or a software reseller or channel business.

• Familiarity with the Siemens Digital Industries Software portfolio.

• Experience rolling out enterprise AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT Enterprise or Microsoft Copilot across a whole company.

• Experience with Microsoft 365 data governance, such as Purview.
