About the Role

We are looking for an organized, motivated Construction Site Coordinator to support daily site operations and help keep our projects on schedule.

Recent civil engineering graduates are our preferred applicants. Experience and knowledge of multiplex and garden suite construction are preferred assets.

This role offers practical exposure to residential construction, from reviewing drawings and coordinating trades to supporting inspections and tracking project progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily site activities, subcontractors, material deliveries, and construction schedules.

• Review architectural and structural drawings and help identify discrepancies or items requiring clarification.

• Monitor progress, maintain site reports and photographs, and flag delays or deficiencies.

• Assist with arranging inspections and tracking required documentation and follow-up items.

• Communicate with project managers, trades, suppliers, and consultants.

• Support material takeoffs, procurement, and tracking of project changes.

• Help maintain an organized site and support compliance with health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• A degree in civil engineering is preferred, with particular interest in recent graduates.

• Experience or knowledge of multiplex and garden suite construction is an asset, including relevant academic projects, internships, or co-op placements.

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

• Basic understanding of residential construction methods, sequencing, and inspection processes.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to solving problems.

• Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with trades and project teams.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or construction management software is an asset.

• Willingness to work on active construction sites and learn through practical involvement.
