Land & Buildings Team Member

Role Summary:

The Land & Building Team Member is responsible for supporting the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of MBRP’s buildings and properties. This role primarily involves completing company errands, property maintenance, and general upkeep, as well as assisting with routine safety inspections and identifying maintenance or safety concerns. The position provides support across the company to help ensure our facilities, grounds, and equipment remain safe, clean, functional, and well maintained. This will be a Monday to Friday role, hours will be 7AM-3PM with 40 minutes of paid breaks. Clean drivers abstract is required. AI is not used at any stage of the recruiting process. Job Specific Duties:

• Shunt product from building to building 
• Assist with local shop supply purchasing requests
• Monitor and replenish First Aid Stations, as required 
• Monitor and coordinate other emergency equipment replenishment/service such as Fire Extinguishers, Pest service, Eye Wash, Fire Blanket, Defibrillator.
• Maintain current cross reference data for all jig and laser cut storage areas
• General property upkeep including snow blowing, snowplowing, and other property maintenance 
• Support routine safety inspections 
• Take waste to appropriate landfills 
• Industrial cleaning, when necessary 

Responsibilities:

• Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and regulations
• Use or wear the equipment, protective devices or clothing that MBRP requires to be used or worn
• Report to your Supervisor the absence or defect in any equipment or protective device of which you are aware and which may endanger yourself or another worker
• Report to your Supervisor any contravention of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and regulations or the existence of any hazard you observe 
• Comply with MBRP Policies and Procedures that apply
• Report to Production Manager
