The Opportunity:

McCarthy Uniforms is hiring a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (Inventory Focus) at our Burnaby store, located at 1050 Boundary Road, Burnaby, BC.

This role will primarily support inventory preparation activities leading up to our annual inventory count. We are seeking someone who enjoys repetitive, detail-oriented work and can help ensure our inventory is accurate, organized, and ready for counting.

Expected hours are approximately 8 to 16 hours per week.

Compensation: $18.25 per hour

Availability Requirements:

• Must be available to work Thursdays
• Additional weekday availability is considered an asset

Key Responsibilities:

• Counting inventory and verifying product quantities
• Sorting, organizing, and preparing merchandise for inventory counts
• Repeatedly counting and reconciling inventory to ensure accuracy
• Replenishing and organizing stock according to merchandising and visual presentation plans
• Lifting and moving boxes weighing up to approximately 30 lbs
• Assisting with receiving and organizing incoming inventory
• Participating in the maintenance and cleanliness of the stockroom and sales floor
• Assisting customers as required
• Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable performing repetitive counting and organizational tasks
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Previous retail, warehouse, merchandising, or inventory experience is an asset, but not required
• Available to work Thursdays
