Course Lecturer - FACC 501 - Winter 2027

Positions announced here are governed by the McGill Course Lecturers and Instructors Union (MCLIU) collective agreement which may be found on McGill's Human Resources website. Candidates are advised to review the agreement prior to applying.

Education: Minimum requirement of i) a Masters or Ph.D. in Engineering, or ii) a Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Management or Business Administration, and a Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.

Experience : Experience as an entrepreneur, founding and/or launching start-up ventures.

Responsibilities

The Course Lecturer will be responsible for teaching the FACC 501 Technology Business Plan Project course. This role involves guiding students through the development of technology-based business plans within the Faculty of Engineering.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master's or Ph.D. in Engineering, or a Master's/Ph.D. in Management/Business Administration combined with a Bachelor's in Science or Engineering. Additionally, applicants must have experience as an entrepreneur and hold membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
