Ensure compliance with McGill University design standards, technical requirements, applicable electrical codes, regulations, and industry best practices to support safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
Contribute to the University’s strategic direction by identifying opportunities of development, implementation, and continuous improvement of electrical engineering standards and technical guidelines. Provide expertise in long-term infrastructure planning, asset management strategies, and campus development initiatives.
Promote a culture of safety, reliability, and continuous improvement by providing support for electrical safety programs and safe work procedures.
