About the Role
McKesson Canada is seeking an experienced and visionary Director, Supply Chain Planning & Transportation to lead the strategy, delivery, and evolution of the technology platforms that support our end-to-end supply chain operations.
This leadership role will drive innovation across demand forecasting, supply planning, inventory optimization, transportation management, analytics, visibility, and system integrations while partnering with senior business and technology leaders to deliver measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technology strategy for Supply Chain Planning and Transportation platforms.
- Drive platform modernization, automation, and AI/ML-enabled planning capabilities.
- Lead teams responsible for service delivery, solution development, operational support, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Distribution Operations, Transportation, Procurement, Analytics, and Technology stakeholders.
- Manage vendors, budgets, service performance, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Ensure secure, scalable, resilient, and reliable technology solutions that support critical business operations.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of technology leadership experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, Distribution, or related industries.
- Strong expertise in forecasting, replenishment, inventory optimization, transportation management systems (TMS), analytics, and system integrations.
- Proven success leading large-scale technology transformation and service delivery initiatives.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams, vendors, budgets, and complex stakeholder environments.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business priorities into technology roadmaps.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-management skills.
