Weâre on the hunt for a motivated and talented Engineering Student in our EGSE and Test Data Processing department at our Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue office. This is a 4 months mandate (with a possibility of 8 months) starting in January 2027.
Overall, the successful candidate would be treated similar to a new graduate joining our company, where tasks will be assigned relative to the level of schooling and experience achieved to date.
The successful candidate will participate in the development of RF and Power units for various MDA programs.
As our Engineering Student, you will:
Responsibilities:
- We are looking for a dynamic intern to participate in the production of equipment used in communication systems for communication satellites;
- Within a multifunctional team, the candidate will participate in the design and development cycle of radio frequency (RF) equipment and associated test equipment;
- The student will also be able to support integration and testing on flight prototypes;
- Alternatively, the student could be called upon to work on different sections of the same project, or on different programs;
- The student will attend project planning and progress team meetings.
Experience and skills required:
- Five semesters of bachelor's degree in electrical engineering completed before the start of the internship;
- Interest and knowledge of radio frequency circuit design and RF components;
- Has good analytical skills
- Dynamic;
- Desire to learn;
- Sense of initiative would be an asset;
- Related work or extracurricular experiences.
Desirable skills:
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint software;
- Demonstrated academic performance (good general average [above 3.30);
- Bilingual (contact with clients outside of Quebec)
