The Role:
The Sr. Master Scheduler is responsible for developing and maintaining the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to support program commitments and manufacturing execution. In a New Product Introduction (NPI) environment, the Master Scheduler partners closely with Operations Leads by providing material availability inputs to support the Operations schedule. This role owns schedule integrity within LN, ensuring program schedules, production demand and material requirements remain aligned and current. Working collaboratively with Production, Planning, Procurement and Program teams, the Master Scheduler drives schedule attainment, proactively manages material shortages and risks, and develops recovery plans to support on-time delivery and successful program execution.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain and publish the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for assigned programs.
- Translate program requirements, customer demand, and integrated operations schedule milestones into an executable production plan within LN.
- Maintain schedule integrity within LN, ensuring production demand, material requirements, planned dates, and priorities remain accurate and aligned with program schedules.
- Partner with Operations Leads to provide material availability inputs required to support development and maintenance of the operations schedule
- Monitor schedule performance and work closely with Production, Planning, Procurement, Engineering, and Program Management to identify and resolve risks impacting schedule attainment.
- Lead schedule recovery planning and coordinate cross-functional actions required to mitigate delays and protect customer commitments.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate material shortage reports, highlighting critical risks, constraints, and recovery actions.
- Facilitate planning and schedule review meetings with stakeholders to align priorities, commitments, and resource requirements.
- Evaluate production capacity, material constraints, and scheduling assumptions to support achievable delivery commitments.
- Monitor and report key planning metrics, including schedule attainment and on-time starts.
- Perform root-cause analysis of missed schedule commitments and recommend corrective actions to improve planning accuracy and schedule stability.
- Support Engineering Change implementation by assessing schedule and material impacts and ensuring planning systems are updated accordingly.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning processes, ERP data accuracy, schedule attainment and inventory management.
- Develop and maintain planning standards, procedures, and best practices to improve consistency, data accuracy, and business performance.
- Manage our offsite inventory storage ensuring accurate tracking of material
- Serve as a key liaison between Program Management, Operations, Production, Procurement, Engineering, and Planning to ensure alignment on production priorities and customer commitments.

Job Education and Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in Production Planning
- Bachelor’s degree in Material Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- Comprehensive knowledge of production planning and scheduling: ERP/MRP systems and planning modules, Bill of Materials (BOMs), routing, lead times, capacity constraints, demand flow, JIT
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Knowledge of project management in a New Production Introduction environment is an asset
- Professional certification by the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) preferred
Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.

The compensation range for this position is $95,000-122,000 annually. The specific compensation offered will be based on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
