Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and analytical Marketing Data Analyst to join our growing team in Oakville, ON. This role focuses on using data, statistical analysis, and AI-powered tools to evaluate marketing performance, identify opportunities, and support data-driven business decisions.

The successful candidate will analyze marketing campaigns, conversion funnels, and lead-generation partner performance to understand what drives revenue, identify the root causes of performance issues, and recommend effective solutions. They will validate analytical findings, establish performance measures, and assess results to ensure decisions are supported by reliable data and measurable outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Analyze marketing performance, conversion funnels, and lead-generation partner data to identify revenue drivers, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Use data and AI-powered tools to conduct analysis, validate outputs, and challenge conclusions that are not supported by evidence.
  • Apply statistical methods to assess results, including statistical significance and sample size, before making recommendations or decisions.
  • Investigate performance issues to identify underlying causes and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Establish success metrics before projects or initiatives launch, monitor results, and lead post-launch performance analysis.
  • Use analytical findings to guide marketing spend decisions, improve conversion performance, and optimize customer acquisition costs.
  • Monitor performance against established targets and take ownership of identifying and addressing gaps.
  • Evaluate lead-generation partner performance, lead quality, costs, and contribution to business results.
  • Prepare clear reports and recommendations for management, explaining key findings, business implications, and recommended actions.
  • Research and assess analytical tools, data sources, and emerging technologies that may improve marketing measurement and decision-making.

What You Bring

  • A completed undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or Commerce with a focus on Finance or Analytics, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience in marketing analytics or a similar analytical role.
  • Demonstrated experience using data to make business or spending decisions, with measurable results.
  • Knowledge of applied statistics, including the ability to assess statistical significance and sample size.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to investigate issues and identify root causes rather than relying on surface-level observations.
  • Experience using AI-powered or data analysis tools, with the ability to verify outputs, assess their reliability, and challenge unsupported conclusions.
  • Experience monitoring performance targets, measuring outcomes, and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical findings in clear, practical business terms.

Assets

  • Experience in lead generation, performance marketing, or marketing analytics.
  • Experience with US ping-tree lead distribution models.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, or R.
  • Experience with Google Ads and related marketing analytics platforms.

Who You Are

  • Analytical and evidence-driven, with a strong attention to detail.
  • A resourceful problem-solver who takes initiative and investigates issues thoroughly.
  • Comfortable challenging assumptions and questioning results that are not supported by data.
  • Able to work independently, manage competing priorities, and take ownership of outcomes.
  • A clear communicator who can turn complex analysis into practical business recommendations.

Our Benefits and Perks

  • Competitive compensation with extended health and wellness benefits, employee discounts, paid time off, and more
  • A collaborative and supportive team culture
  • Complimentary snacks and coffee
