About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Revenue Manager to spearhead our revenue operations and optimize our end-to-end revenue cycle. In this pivotal role, you will be ultimately responsible for leading and driving the strategy, structure, and performance of our Billing and Collections functional areas. Working alongside team leads and managers who handle day-to-day operations, you will oversee overall billing and collection processes across all business units. Serving as a key business partner to Sales, Onboarding, and Finance, you will ensure the precision of our billing operations, champion revenue recognition excellence, and translate complex SaaS metrics into actionable financial insights. If you are an analytical, strategic leader who thrives on process improvement, organizational leadership, and cross-functional collaboration, we invite you to join our team and make a tangible impact on our company's growth.

  • Work closely with team managers and leads (who manage day-to-day operations) to align team goals, provide high-level guidance, ensure accountability, and foster professional development across both departments.

  • Optimize department structures, workflows, and resource allocation to support company scaling and operational performance.

Sales Analysis & Business Partnership

  • Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Customer Success, and Onboarding to resolve high-level billing or collection issues and improve the overall customer experience.

  • Support and validate the completed Sales variance analysis for multiple business units.

  • Provide accurate and timely billing and revenue information for financial reporting and analysis, including validation of key SaaS metrics.

  • Perform reconciliation with Sales and Onboarding data.

  • Explain monthly subscription variances.

  • Analyze SaaS metrics and participate in the implementation and tracking of ARPU (Average Revenue Per User).

Sales to Cash & Revenue Operations

  • Oversee end-to-end invoicing, billing, and collections operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with contract terms.

  • Manage credit and collections strategies across all business units to minimize bad debt, lower Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and ensure effective customer account resolution.

  • Ensure proper accounting treatment and recognition of revenue in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.

  • Establish and maintain robust billing and collection internal controls and procedures to minimize errors, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance.

  • Support the monthly closing process and prepare/review accounting entries related to billing, collections, revenue, and deferred revenue.

  • Support the preparation and management of the annual audit, responding to auditor requests related to billing, receivables, and revenue.

  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve billing, collection, revenue, and accounting processes, systems, and internal controls.

Working Conditions:

  • Permanent full-time position (40 hours per week).

  • Hybrid work arrangement.

    • Candidates must reside in the province of Quebec.
