Original job description

MEDFAR Clinical Solutions was founded in 2010 by two aeronautical engineers who realized that the healthcare system was not exploiting the full potential of technology. Supported by a large community of medical experts and focused on clinical success and patient safety, MEDFAR was the first company to certify a cloud-based Electronic Medical Record in Canada: MYLE (Make Your Life Easy).

Committed to promoting excellence and effectiveness in healthcare worldwide, MEDFAR differentiates itself by offering a unique healthcare management solution for clinics, which replaces inefficient processes with a faster and safer technological alternative.

Job Description

As a Full Stack Developer, you will be part of the AI Platform team, whose goal is to build and evolve the key features that support real-world healthcare workflows. This team works closely with Product and Design to deliver solutions that have a direct impact on our users - healthcare professionals and their patients.

You will contribute to the design, implementation, and deployment of new features that support the continuous evolution of our platform. From modernizing existing components to introducing innovative capabilities, your work will help advance healthcare technology. You will be surrounded by colleagues who value collaboration, code quality, and continuous learning, and who are always ready to support your professional growth.

What You’ll Do

As a Full Stack Developer, you will contribute to the development of reliable, secure, and scalable web applications. You will work across the full technology stack, collaborate closely with your teammates, and continue to grow your impact as a developer. Specifically, you will:

Build meaningful features: Contribute to the design and development of front-end and back-end features that deliver value to our users and support the company’s objectives.
Make thoughtful technical choices: Take part in evaluating the tools, frameworks, and design approaches that balance technical needs with long-term maintainability.
Write quality code: Develop clean, testable, and well-documented code, and participate in code reviews to improve your work and uphold the team’s standards.
Contribute to process improvement: Share your ideas and feedback to help improve our software design, testing, and delivery practices.
Collaborate and learn: Work closely with senior developers to build technical knowledge, ask the right questions, and sharpen your skills through mentorship and collaboration.
Take ownership of your work: Take responsibility for your tasks, honor your commitments, and proactively ask for help when needed to move projects forward.

Qualifications

Contribute to our team with your strengths:

College or university degree in software development or a related field - or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of experience
Knowledge of software architecture and infrastructure in a cloud environment (Azure, AWS, etc.).
Knowledge of .NET application development and architecture concepts, with C# programming experience (.NET, .NET Core).
Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript programming.
Hands-on experience with a modern front-end framework (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.).
Experience with SQL Server and T-SQL programming.
Experience with ML/LLM frameworks using Python, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.
Solid understanding of security best practices.
Excellent analytical mind, with the ability to quickly understand the issues and specific needs of our customers.
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Fluency in English, French is a plus.

Assets

Knowledge of the healthcare industry business domain.

Working conditions:

Contract: Permanent, full time (40h/week)

Working mode: Hybrid or remote
- Occasional in-office presence may be required during the year (for events or team meetings, for example).
- Candidates must reside in the province of Quebec.

Remote work and flexibility (supporting work-life balance)
RRSP contribution
Healthcare insurance from day one
Paid time off: 3 weeks + 1 additional week between Christmas and New Year

A company culture focused on transparency, collaboration, and innovation
Join a dynamic and innovative environment where your work has a real and wide-reaching impact, helping to modernize healthcare in Canada and internationally

We are committed to providing a work environment where every individual feels respected and supported, regardless of their background, identity or abilities. As part of our commitment to a fair and inclusive recruitment process, we offer accommodation to candidates who request it.
