Role Description/CriteriaWe are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated classroom teacher to join our committed staff from the beginning of the 2027 school year.The successful applicant will:
- be able to work in a supportive team environment and have the capacity to establish, contribute to and maintain positive workplace relationships
- be able to use data effectively to respond to the needs of the children
- have a willingness to be actively involved in the school and parish communities
- be committed to building strong partnerships between families and school
- be committed to ongoing professional learning
- be open to the implementation of the Explicit Direct Instruction pedagogy
- have an understanding, knowledge and commitment to MACS Vision for Instruction and Engagement.
- accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school or a willingness to undertake studies
- current Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration
- include the contact details of 3 referees with current principal as one of the referees
- have an understanding that our school community promotes the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children.
- evidence of personal identity and professional qualifications

Requirements
Applicants should be experienced, enthusiastic, and motivated, with current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration and accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school or willingness to undertake the required studies. They should support Explicit Direct Instruction, MACS Vision for Instruction and Engagement, ongoing professional learning, and the safety, wellbeing, and inclusion of children; applications must include three referees, including the current principal.
