Locum GP – Near Bodmin, North Cornwall
Background
We are working with a well-regarded coastal GP practice on the North Cornwall coast, seeking a Locum GP for regular days in October, November and December. If you already know this part of Cornwall, or fancy exploring it, this is a great chance to pick up sessions in a beautiful location with a supportive team and a manageable workload.
There are also ongoing requirements for ad hoc locum work with this practice, so if you live in or around North Cornwall or the surrounding commutable areas, this is an excellent opportunity to build a relationship with a local practice and pick up regular locum work close to home.
Salary – £700 per day
Location – Near Bodmin, North Cornwall
The Practice
- Mid-sized practice with a stable and experienced clinical team
- Support from Paramedics, helping reduce home visit burden
- Structured day with protected admin time
- Efficient appointment system with 15-minute appointments
- Picturesque coastal setting with renowned cycling and walking trails on the doorstep, and popular foodie towns within easy reach
- Easy access with on-site parking available
- Popular tourist destination with excellent local amenities
Your role
- Regular locum days in October, November and December
- 11 patients per session
- 15-minute appointments
- Plus, additional slots in PM session for 5-minute tasks approx. 3
- 8.30am – 5.30pm
- Home Visits – not often have a Paramedic that would do visits in first instance
- No duty required for ad-hoc dates
- You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and be registered with the GMC and UK Performers List
