Job Summary:

As a Senior Clinical Research Project Manager, you will turn agreed research plans into completed studies across our dermatology technologies. You will work with clinics, hospitals, universities, investigators, and contractors to keep multiple studies moving from setup through data collection, reporting, and publication.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands clinical research, builds productive relationships, and takes responsibility for getting work to the finish line.

Responsibilities

Translate study protocols into practical project plans with clear milestones, responsibilities, budgets, and timelines; maintain a consolidated view of progress, risks, and decisions across studies.

Serve as the main operational contact for investigators and partner organizations. Negotiate site budgets and clinical trial agreements with hospital and university contracts offices, coordinating internal review and approvals.

Coordinate ethics submissions, data-access arrangements, site setup, training, materials, and study documentation. Ensure participating teams understand the protocol and their responsibilities, and that required approvals are in place before study activities begin.

Track recruitment, data collection, and partner commitments. Resolve delays, coordinate monitoring and data-quality checks, and ensure protocol deviations and safety concerns reach the appropriate clinical and regulatory owners.

Drive data-query resolution and handover of complete, well-documented datasets to internal analysts or external specialists. Coordinate study reports, investigator review, outstanding actions, and study close-out.

Coordinate scientific papers, white papers, and conference submissions with clinical authors and writers. Assemble source material, support drafting and editing, and manage review cycles, approvals, and submission deadlines.

Qualifications (must‑have)

Bachelor’s degree in health sciences, life sciences, nursing, clinical research, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

5+ years of clinical research experience, including at least 2 years independently managing studies or substantial study workstreams.

Experience managing medical device, diagnostic, or digital health studies from setup through data collection and reporting, with examples of resolving obstacles and bringing studies to completion.

Experience coordinating investigators, research sites, and external partners across multiple organizations, including managing commitments and following up on overdue actions.

Practical understanding of clinical study conduct, Good Clinical Practice, ethics submissions, informed consent, privacy, and essential study documentation.

Comfort with study tracking, electronic data collection, document management, and data-quality processes, and the ability to coordinate effectively with analysts and technical teams.

Ability to independently manage concurrent studies in a small team, communicate progress and risks clearly, and organize, review, and edit study documents and scientific content.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with dermatology and skin cancer care, including clinical terminology and diagnostic workflows.

Familiarity with ISO 14155 and applicable medical-device study requirements, including FDA and EU MDR clinical evidence and post-market clinical follow-up.

Experience with reader studies, diagnostic accuracy studies, or image-based research, particularly in dermatology.

Familiarity with dermatology and skin cancer care, including clinical terminology and diagnostic workflows.

CCRP or CCRA certification.

Experience coordinating multicentre or international studies and supporting manuscripts, white papers, conference abstracts, or other scientific publications.
