Original job description

Opportunity

Our Professional Services team helps small businesses turn Method CRM into a system built around how they actually work. As a Junior Solutions Specialist, you'll be part of every step, from the first discovery call to go-live. You'll get to know each client's workflows, design the right setup, and configure it yourself using our no-code tools.

About Method

Method is on a mission to transform how small businesses operate by giving them real control over their customer workflows.

Our flagship product, Method CRM, is purpose-built for small businesses that have outgrown spreadsheets and generic tools. With deep QuickBooks and Xero integrations and a powerful no-code customization engine, Method lets users design workflows that truly fit their unique needs.

As a scaling growth company, we're now taking that mission further, using AI to build intelligent agents that help users rapidly build and customize no-code apps. This is the heart of our next chapter, and we're looking for people who want to help small businesses work smarter.

Responsibilities

Client-Facing:

Lead discovery calls and gather business requirements
Document client workflows and translate them into clear implementation plans
Manage client communication from kick-off to go-live
Set and manage expectations, including when scope or timelines need to shift
Deliver paid training sessions so clients can use their setup independently
Triage and escalate issues when needed

Technical:

Configure and customize Method CRM using our no-code automation tools
Design data models and translate business requirements into technical specs
Scope, develop, test, and refine customized solutions
Manage project timelines and hour allocations to stay on-time and on-budget
Iterate on solutions based on client feedback
Provide consistent product feedback to the broader team

No coding or scripting required for this role - all the configuration is done through no-code automation.

What You Bring

Before you read this next section, we want you to know that we know the “ideal candidate” doesn’t exist - everybody has a unique background and skill set. Even if you don’t check every box below, we’d love for you to apply if you’re passionate about creating custom solutions and the opportunity at Method.

Client-Facing & Communication

Clear, confident verbal and written communication
Experience in a client-facing role that involved requirements gathering, consulting, or stakeholder management
Comfortable presenting ideas, walking clients through solutions, and holding a room
You can handle unexpected questions and difficult conversations without losing your footing
Bonus points if you're fluent in French or Spanish

Technical Skills

Strong technical aptitude and ability to pick up new software quickly is non-negotiable
Experience building or configuring automation workflows using no-code or low-code tools is a plus
Experience working in or configuring a CRM, ERP, or accounting platform
SQL knowledge is an asset
A background in Business Technology Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, but equivalent experience works just as well

Work Style & Environment

Experience in an environment where performance was measured, whether that's ticket volume, SLA compliance, quota attainment, or KPIs, is a plus
Familiarity with scoping projects, tracking hours, and managing budgets is a plus

What We Offer

🌐 Flexible hybrid work model – designed to support work-life balance while maintaining strong team collaboration; employees work from our downtown Toronto office 2–3 days per week

🎉 Collaborative and social team culture – work in a supportive environment with regular team events and company-wide celebrations that keep things fun and connected

🚀 Growth-stage company experience – working at a scaling growth company like Method gives you deep insight into how a software company operates. You'll be involved in a wide range of discussions and initiatives, gaining experience that's hard to find in more siloed environments.

📚 Training – You will receive initial and ongoing training on Method’s products, policies and procedures as well as a quarterly professional development budget.

📍Great downtown location – Method is located right in the heart of Toronto’s young and vibrant ‘King West’ technology hub at the corner of Adelaide and Spadina Ave.

🩺 Comprehensive health benefits – inclusive of healthcare, vision, and dental coverage to support your overall well-being

🥗 Weekly lunch credit – enjoy a meal on us every week as a small way to say thanks

The Interview Process

Talent Acquisition Screen (15–30 min, virtual) - A conversation about your background, experience, and what you're looking for.
Technical Evaluation (1 hour, virtual) - You'll meet with one of our Professional Services leaders to work through some automation logic tasks. We're not looking for perfect answers - we're looking at how you think.
Final Interview (1 hour, in-person) - You'll come into our King West office and meet with our leadership team. We'll focus on the client-facing side of the role and on your goals and expectations.

What to Expect in Your First 90 Days:

Onboard and acclimate with the Professional Services team.
Understand Method’s values and how our teams collaborate to drive results.
Learn and become an expert of our internal communication tools, norms, and practices.
Obtain your QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor Certification.
Complete Method’s Bootcamp.
Successfully complete all of the case studies on Method’s Platform.
Shadow other Methoders from the Professional Services team as they perform paid customizations.
Participate in mock calls with the team.
Lead calls with customers on customization and champion their needs to provide the ideal platform while another Methoder shadows.
Demonstrate strong communication skills when mapping an implementation schedule with the client.
Know when to triage and escalate client issues.

Job type: Full-time permanent.
Work arrangement: Hybrid, 2-3 days in the office

Compensation: $59,000 - $64,000 annually. The base salary for this role is $55,000 per year. Additional variable compensation is paid out monthly post the probationary period.

This is an active role for an existing vacancy that we are currently hiring for, and we thank all applicants for their interest. Only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted. We kindly request that recruiting agencies do not contact us regarding this position.

AI in Recruitment

At Method, we use artificial intelligence (AI) to help support and enhance our recruitment process. These tools may assist with tasks such as resume screening, drafting job descriptions, generating initial interview questions, transcription, and occasionally sourcing candidates.

AI is never used to make final hiring decisions. All hiring decisions are made by our team. Our use of AI is intended to support administrative and repetitive tasks, helping us streamline our workflows while maintaining a thoughtful and human-centered hiring experience.

We are committed to the responsible and ethical use of AI in our recruitment practices. Our standardized hiring processes are designed to reduce bias and promote fairness, and we regularly review and refine our practices to align with evolving industry standards and legal guidelines.

Method is an equal opportunity employer for all - regardless of race, colour, ancestry, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, marital status or able-bodiedness. As part of our commitment to be an inclusive and accessible workplace, we’re happy to provide accommodations for candidates taking part in the selection process.
