Business Data Analyst
Toronto, ON (3 days a week hybrid)
Must Have
- Expert in SQL, Hadoop, BigData, Hive, Nifi
- Strong experience in Azure Data Services analysis, BI Analysis
- Ability to analyze the construction of existing reports and reverse engineer table relationships etc
- Strong knowledge of the Retail Domain and experience with various stages of data warehouse projects, including data extraction, cleansing, aggregation, validation, transformation, and loading.
- Exp in using DataStage components such as Sequential File, Join, Sort, Merge, Lookup, Transformer, Remove Duplicates, Copy, Filter, Funnel, Dataset, Change Data Capture, and Aggregator.
- Strong at database commands (DDL and DML) and data warehousing implementations models.
- Hands on exp with the Hadoop ecosystem, including HDFS, Hive, Sqoop, NiFi, and YARN

Responsibilities
Analyze existing reports and reverse engineer table relationships, while supporting business intelligence analysis using Azure Data Services. Contribute to data warehouse projects across data extraction, cleansing, aggregation, validation, transformation, and loading.
Requirements
Requires expert knowledge of SQL, Hadoop, Big Data, Hive, and NiFi, along with strong experience in Azure Data Services and business intelligence analysis. Candidates should have retail domain knowledge, hands-on experience with the Hadoop ecosystem and DataStage components, and strong database and data warehousing skills.
