About the role
Our client is growing its data center build capability and looking for experienced Senior Data Center Professionals to join the team in Edmonton, Alberta. You’ll play a hands-on role in delivering critical digital infrastructure, from early construction through to commissioning and handover.
This is a great fit if you take pride in quality workmanship, safety and delivering complex projects on schedule. We’re open to candidates who are already in Edmonton and to those willing to relocate or travel.
What you’ll do
- Lead and carry out data center construction and fit-out activities on site
- Install and terminate power distribution, cabling, containment, racking and mechanical systems
- Read and work from drawings, specifications and project schedules
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, trades and subcontractors
- Supervise and mentor junior professionals and technicians
- Support testing, commissioning and handover
- Uphold site safety, quality and compliance standards at all times
What we’re looking for
- Proven senior-level experience building data centers or comparable markets(Advanced tech, Oil & Gas, Healthcare)
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical scopes
- Ability to work independently and lead crews on site
- Solid understanding of health and safety practices and site regulations
- Clear communication and a team-first attitude
- Based in Edmonton, Alberta, or willing to relocate
Nice to have
- Experience with hyperscale or colocation builds
- Commissioning experience

Responsibilities
