Embedded Engineering Leader
Western Canada | Competitive compensation
Can you lead an engineering team and still get into the detail of complex firmware challenges?
I’m supporting a confidential search for an established industrial technology business developing reliable electronics and control products.
This opportunity combines embedded engineering expertise with people leadership. You’ll help shape technical direction, guide architecture decisions, mentor engineers and drive products from development through production and ongoing support.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong embedded firmware development experience in C/C++
- Experience leading engineers and guiding technical decisions
- A solid understanding of low-level hardware, electronics and system integration
- Experience developing industrial or other reliability-critical products
- Product delivery experience from concept through commercialization
- Confident communication across technical and business teams
This could suit an experienced engineering manager or a strong technical lead ready to take on broader responsibility.
Candidates should be based in Western Canada or open to relocation. Some international travel is required.
