🚀 Manager – Embedded Systems / Firmware
📍 Central Alberta | Relocation Included
💰 CAD $150K–$190K + 15% Bonus
I’m partnered with a global technology manufacturer looking for a technical leader to take ownership of an established embedded firmware team developing mission-critical industrial control products.
This is not a traditional people-management role. You’ll lead approximately 10+ firmware engineers while remaining close to the technology, providing technical direction, influencing architecture and driving new product development.
What they’re looking for:
- Strong embedded firmware / embedded systems background
- Deep C/C++ expertise; Rust highly desirable
- Low-level firmware, electronics and hardware integration experience
- Industrial controls, automation or other mission-critical product experience
- Engineering leadership experience - strong Technical Leads ready to step up considered
- Experience delivering products through development and commercialization
- Strong communicator with the technical credibility to lead experienced engineers
