General Superintendent | Senior Superintendent | MEP Superintendent

Hyperscale Data Center Construction | Edmonton, Alberta

The Role

Metric DCX is partnered with a leading Canadian general contractor with 3 hyperscale data center projects underway, and hiring across the site leadership team.

You’ll run the field: driving safe, high-quality, on-schedule execution from mobilization through turnover.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily field operations, trade coordination and site logistics
  • Drive schedule adherence, look-ahead planning and production
  • Oversee MEP installation, sequencing and quality of work in place (MEP Superintendents)
  • Own the site’s overall delivery and mentor the superintendent team (General Superintendent)
  • Enforce safety standards and a strong site culture
  • Run inspections, QA/QC programs and non-conformance close-out (Quality Lead)
  • Partner with PMs, schedulers, commissioning and the client to resolve issues fast

Qualifications

  • Superintendent roles: 5+ years in field construction, with experience on large, complex projects
  • General Superintendent: experience leading multi-trade teams on major-scale builds
  • MEP Superintendents: strong electrical and mechanical field background
  • Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred

  • Data center experience preferred though not required. Healthcare, semiconductor and large industrial backgrounds are strongly considered
  • Candidates from the US and Europe welcome, with visa sponsorship available
