The typical salary range for this position is $62 400.00 - $93 600.00 annually. The base salary offered will be determined based on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity considerations.

Summary
Reporting to the Senior Manager, eCommerce Growth Ontario, the Advisor, eCommerce Growth Ontario is responsible for supporting the growth, performance and ongoing development of third-party marketplace partnerships for the company’s Ontario banners. The Advisor works closely with external partners and cross-functional teams to plan and execute growth initiatives, launch new services, expand store participation and improve the customer experience. Using a data-driven approach, the Advisor identifies opportunities, monitors results and coordinates operational improvements that support eCommerce sales and profitability objectives.
Specific Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of growth strategies for third-party marketplace channels across Ontario.
- Monitor sales, customer, operational and financial performance; identify trends, opportunities and areas requiring corrective action.
- Prepare recurring performance reports, partner business reviews and recommendations for internal stakeholders.
- Analyze performance variances and coordinate required adjustments with Finance, Operations, internal teams and external partners.
- Use a data-driven approach to recommend initiatives that improve sales, traffic, conversion, customer engagement, order frequency and profitability.
- Support annual planning, sales forecasts, marketplace growth targets and competitive intelligence.
- Act as a key day-to-day contact for assigned marketplace partners and build productive relationships with participating stores and internal business teams.
- Coordinate business requests, issue resolution, partner commitments, deliverables, risks and dependencies across multiple stakeholders.
- Support the evaluation of partner proposals, commercial opportunities, service changes and new marketplace capabilities.
- Coordinate new marketplace launches, banner expansions, store additions and service enhancements, including feasibility analysis, implementation schedules, launch readiness and post-launch follow-up.
- Coordinate requirements and deliverables with Operations, Information Technology, product catalogue teams, Marketing, Merchandising, Finance, Payments, Legal, Information Security, Customer Service and marketplace partners.
- Identify and prioritize issues affecting product availability, pricing, promotions, catalogue accuracy, store visibility, order execution and the customer experience.
- Maintain and communicate accurate lists of participating banners, stores, services, operating schedules and holiday hours.
- Coordinate the investigation and resolution of operational, technical, customer-service and partner-related issues, including ServiceNow and information-security requests.
- Develop and maintain procedures, reference materials, process documentation and operational communications; recommend scalable solutions for recurring issues.
- Coordinate marketplace promotional and seasonal initiatives with Marketing, Merchandising, Media and external partners.
- Support offers, featured-product programs, seasonal themes, cross-selling opportunities and other marketplace activations while ensuring alignment with brand standards and business objectives.
- Track promotional performance and recommend improvements for future activations.
- Support the review, validation and reconciliation of marketplace invoices, fees, credits and financial adjustments.
- Coordinate with Finance and marketplace partners to investigate discrepancies, resolve outstanding items and maintain accurate supporting documentation.
- Assist with business cases, financial analyses, partner performance assessments and information required for internal, executive or investor reporting.
Specific Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, digital marketing, eCommerce or another relevant discipline.
- Three or more years of relevant experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, retail, marketplace management, project coordination, business analysis or a related field.
- Experience working with third-party marketplaces, delivery platforms, digital commerce partners or external technology providers is an asset.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into clear findings and actionable recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and project-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with dashboards, business reviews or financial analyses is an asset.
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Knowledge of grocery retail, digital marketplaces or last-mile delivery is an asset.
- Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
