We are also building new and improved rapid transit, including GO Expansion, Light Rail Transit routes, and major expansions to Toronto’s subway system, to get people where they need to go, better, faster and easier. Metrolinx is an agency of the Government of Ontario.

At Metrolinx, equity, diversity and inclusion are essential to living our values of serving with passion, thinking forward and playing as a team.

Manage, recruit, coach, manage goal setting, and performance management of a high performing-deal closing sales team. This role requires active engagement with the sales team through regular weekly sales touchpoints to monitor, evaluate, and motivate team to reach revenue targets. Support sales team members on calls, meetings, and presentations to prospective partners to improve and enhance the Metrolinx sales strategy.
Collaborate and work closely with other Senior Managers, Directors, and C-Suite within Metrolinx divisions to educate, build consensus, make recommendations and remove internal obstacles or challenges around the partnership strategy implementation in order to receive required approval and endorsement from multiple internal stakeholders.
Identifies, builds and manages relationships with a wide number of internal and external stakeholders, including partners, government, agencies and/or communities, leveraging those relationships to advance division or project objectives.
Conducts strategic research and planning; makes planning, policy and operational decisions; identifies areas of improvement and develops recommendations for proposed projects.
Develops and manages annual and long-term budgets and staffing plans that adhere to corporate standards and applicable legislation.
Creates a working environment that is aligned with the organization’s desire to be a “best company to work for”, ensuring that people resources possess the required skills, are properly aligned, and are provided with the resources to do the job and ‘close the sale.'
