Original job description

Metrolinx is connecting communities across the Greater Golden Horseshoe. Metrolinx operates GO Transit and UP Express, as well as the PRESTO fare payment system. We are also building new and improved rapid transit, including GO Expansion, Light Rail Transit routes, and major expansions to Toronto’s subway system, to get people where they need to go, better, faster and easier. Metrolinx is an agency of the Government of Ontario.

Our Capital Projects Group workforce is made up of driven and dedicated professionals who care deeply about working together to deliver infrastructure and make a positive impact in our communities. Join us as we build a knowledgeable and collaborative team that courageously changes how transit projects will be delivered.

The Stations, Civils & Track Program Delivery team is seeking a Project Coordinator for the Northern Corridors Stations Caledonia department. Reporting to the Manager, Program Delivery, this role will support the delivery of transit infrastructure projects by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, facilitating corridor access planning, and managing quality assurance (QA), quality control (QC), and request for information (RFI) processes. Work with Project Manager to manage risk, cost, schedule, permits and all other performance indicators related to execution of the work.
Will be working in a fast-paced schedule construction environment and will need to be able to problem solve and work collaboratively with others to resolve issues and facilitate the execution of the works.
Coordinate and submit tender document specifications for construction and consultant contracts to the Procurement team for tendering. Assists Procurement Team during tendering by providing information to contractors and consultants.

Participation with on site construction meetings, site reviews, and safety compliance, including ensuring compliance with contract document management.
Ensure project completion and commissioning for handover to user group.
Prepare reports, logs, and presentations to various stakeholders and the management team on a regular basis, working collaboratively to meet internal and external stakeholder requirements.
