Review consultant proposals and contractor submittals and develop recommendations for proposed project solutions consistent with strategic plan and business objectives.
Provide collaborative leadership oversight to the team, and ensuring that critical project milestones, issues, risks, are identified early and contribute to the strategic mitigation plans

Familiarity with relevant legislation (e.g., Metrolinx Act, Places to Grow Act, Planning Act, Revised Statutes of Ontario (RSO), Municipal Act) is an asset.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification would be an asset.
Principles and practices of architecture, urban planning, engineering design and their application to the construction of infrastructure, facilities, and related works
Analytical and negotiation skills and experience with vendor management to manage development and delivery of externally provided products and services (e.g., negotiate contracts, interpret, compile, and administer contracts and memoranda of understanding (MOUs)
